Today more than ever, the competitiveness of tissue makers relies on tissue machine production speed. The crescent former technology is the solution. Focusing on best tissue quality and low-cost operation in high speed working conditions, ABK has designed its own crescent former and developed a specific hydraulic headbox called dynaflo.

The dynaflo headbox is available in the standard version dynaflo-CR and the double layer version dynaflo-C2. The nozzle is equipped with lamelass to ensure a perfectly dispersed jet and to allow multi-ply tissue making. The dynaflo headbox is also characterized by a very specific turbulence tube design which guarantees :

• Optimum fiber dispersion
• Stable and coherent stock jet
• Low pumping energy requirement
• Good Z-direction fiber distribution to increase the final product bulk.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Customized : starting from the same technological and technical base, the customer can choose, within an ample range of options, to tailor the reelers to his specific needs.

Direct drive on primary and secondary arms can be provided.
