SPECIAL FEATURES

In order to improve the CD profiles, ABK supplies its own technology for swimming rolls (called FALTM) or multizone rolls working with a thermo roll of duo-pass or tri-pass system designed for optimal heat transfer. Thus depending on profile requirement ABK will propose either multizone or for even better CD profile,

Swimmning roll with induction coil (min. pitch 1”1/2-standard pitch 3”). An exclusive hydraulic control system is able to handle both the parallel opening/closing and the loading operations eliminating all kinds of mechanical connection between FS and DS arms. Our calenders can be supplied complete with heating (steam, hot water, hot oil and induction) hydraulic and lubrication units. Utilities are of first quality and comply with CE safety regulation whatever the destination country. The direct electronic to hydraulic control system is pneumatic free order to give a constant accuracy level with time.
