HOOD DESIGN
- Hood-duty stable frame ensuring extended and stable performance and taking care of Yankee dryer surface
- Design distance 30mm from Yankee, the best efficiency vs. safety
- High-insulation and waterproof panels for extreme operating dew point and minimal energy consumption
- Fine and regular tuning of air flows spread in both CD and MD, including manually balanced air dampers and primary ducts (CD pitch ≤ 1000)
- Gentle exhaust reparation avoiding web sucking and take-off everywhere around the active area
- SMARTIARTM nozzles concepts (Air knives), the only one offering the highest drying rates compared to similar equipment available, and giving versatility to follow up machines evolution to meet markets demand.
- High efficiency fans driven by frequency variators fir minimal electricity consumption.
- Wide doors easily accessible from walkways for inspection, cleaning and eventual inside maintenance
- Perfect air balance whatever machine speed: no migration of air in bot MD&CD; no hot air loss at dry end, nor hazardous and penalizing fresh air introduction on both edges and wet-end side
- Fire detection and steam extinguishing system taking care of your machine
